_Natalia Berti, Britta Uhlig and Esther Blodau-Konick are the new representatives in the IfEU PDF Drucken E-Mail
After Michael Rostalski and Nathalie Jean-Baptiste have hold the position as the elected representatives passionately during the last 2 years, Natalia Berti, Britta Uhlig and Esther Blodau-Konick now take charge of the interests and needs of the master and doctoral students in our Institute for European Urban Studies.

Before enrolling in the European Urbanism Master programme at the Bauhaus University, I worked in a small municipal planning office after having received a bachelor degree in “urban studies” in the United States. For me, the combinations of theory and practice offered by the Institute for European Urbanism were important aspects in deciding to study here. The practical element of the programme, embodied by the “Model Project,” is an exciting way not only to gain entry into the working world, but also provides a meaningful learning experience in the real world. A second reason I choose the Bauhaus University to continue my studies was integration of a design studio into the curriculum; adding design abilities to my skill set. Studying in Weimar has be a rewarding experience so far, and I particularly enjoy the international nature of the master programmes.

Britta Uhlig (representative of master students IIUS)
Hi, my name is Britta Uhlig. I am this year representing the IIUS students and ready to speak for (y)our interests and needs! A few words about myself: I grew up in Hamburg and I am an architect (FH) by training. After working four years as advisor for urban planning in Battambang/ Cambodia, I came in October 2007 to Weimar to participate in the Master Program “Integrated International Urban Studies (IIUS)”. The IIUS program attracted me because of its combination of theoretical (university education) and practical (model project) modules. Its interdisciplinary approach as well as the cooperation and exchange program with the Tongji University Shanghai made it especially attractive for me. If you have any questions or if there is anything I can do for you, please e-mail me:
